Since 1990 The Best of Cincinnati, Inc. has offered a simple alternative, by presenting to you an exclusive assortment of the finest quality products produced by businesses in Cincinnati. The collection features Cincinnati delicacies that have been selected to exemplify the culinary traditions which have made Cincinnati famous.
Our humble beginnings
Our company was founded as collaboration between a University of Cincinnati student Edward J. Imm and his professor Dr. Ronald J. Dornoff. The concept came to be as many local restaurants entered the grocery store market by bottling or canning such famous Cincinnati products such as Montgomery Inn BBQ Sauce, Skyline Chili, and Gold Star Chili. Mr. Imm presented a business plan as a class project to bring local products together in gift baskets and boom the company was off and running.
Over the years the company has had many expansions into new products and new markets. As Cincinnati has added new restaurants and new venues so has The Best of Cincinnati, Inc. Interestingly, Mr. Imm vowed as a student to someday enter the world of education to “pay back” what he had learned in his many years in business assuming all went well. After 28 years of the good, the bad, and the ugly of the business world Mr. Imm is an adjunct business instructor at The University of Cincinnati in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business.

What’s new?
The local craft beer explosion has expanded our offering to include many local brews. Christian Moerlein, Rhinegeist, and Mt. Carmel brewing are our latest additions to our gift basket line. These local craft beers boast big flavor as well as many local and national awards. So share the great taste of our beer with loved ones who live locally or out of town. We can ship to family friends or anyone who has yet to experience our local craft beer craze.
In addition to craft beers, we also carry the famous Vinoklet wine that is produced right here in Cincinnati. Vinoklet Winery is the only working winery in Hamilton County, Ohio. Home to 11 award-wining wines, Vinoklet is proud to represent the Greater Cincinnati area in local and regional wine competitions.

Not interested in sending food, please be sure to check out the “for the home” section of our site where you will find an array of nonfood items that are perfect for any home. Items include cocktail glasses, coasters, coffee mugs and many other items. A woven cotton throw blanket depicting iconic Cincinnati scenes is the perfect gift for any Cincinnatian feeling under the weather or just as a pick me up for a loved one. The scenes include Fountain Square, Music Hall, Suspension Bridge, and Union Terminal. Games and toys are available for the younger people who have ties to Cincinnati as well. We deliver locally and ship nationwide. Most orders are processed with same day shipping. We deliver to hotels for wedding favors, offices for corporate gifts, hospitals for those who need a little something and anywhere else we can spread Cincinnati’s good cheer.
Our warehouse store is located at 484 Northland Blvd. near tri-county. Our holiday store hours start the day after Thanksgiving: 10-6 Tuesday-Friday and 10-5 Saturday. Sunday/Monday by appointment.
We meet customers in our store 7 days a week, just call to firm up a time prior to Thanksgiving week-end.
